So much to be grateful for in life. Sometimes things do not work out the way we could or would like them to. Often, actually. It can be hard when your head is in opposition to your heart. Which one should you listen to? Only we can ever answer that question to ourselves. Regardless and even in spite of things working or not, there is still so much to be grateful for. Never loose sight of the bigger goal in the feeling of the moment. Listen to both our heads and hearts, then choose what is the best outcome for all involved. And often we still do not know, we can only do the best we can do in the moment.
As our minds quiet for the day it allows us become present to the inner longings of our collective soul. It urges us to be more than we think we can be, to treat ourselves kindly, with love and compassion. Not to give up or in to the demands of a hectic world. Going within we become renewed, restored and whole. Go outside to sit under the stars and think of the ancestors who came before us. One can almost hear the chanting in the wind, hushed voices greeting the evening with reverence and love. I invite you to close your eyes, open your heart and let the peace of the night wash away the day.
*******FREEDOM******* 1 the quality or state of being free 2 the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action
Freedom- so often taken for granted until it is lost. Some have never and will never in their lives know the feeling of being free. Regardless of belief, the constitution grants the citizens of the USA the inalienable right to be free. Yet with that somehow has come a sense of entitlement, a feeling of superiority or inclination to press your views upon others. Which paradoxically is the antithesis of freedom. Not in everyone does this trait exist, however the ones who do possess this seem unable or unwilling to grant another the same freedom of thought that they so doggedly defend. The next time we are tempted to try and impose our beliefs on another, stop and grant that person what the constitution does- the Right to be free- whether or not anyone agrees with you or not.
In a world where time seems to be speeding up, always something to do, hectic and hurried. Stop. Just stop. Re-evaluate what you are committed to, what your commitments now are and what you want to spend your precious time on this Earth doing. It can be difficult to choose what your time is spent on. Make it a point to get in touch with your inner knowing, and listen to that quiet, soft voice inside which will guide you in the direction your passions truly lie. Quiet the chatter of the mind, so the direction of the soul can be heard. Make the time. You will not regret it. ♥ Robin ♥
Ever notice how when you grin at someone almost immediately they begin to grin back? Try it sometime, randomly while walking down the street, while in the store, just flash someone a grin. One that extends to more than your mouth one that includes your eyes. Sure, some may look at you like ‘what is wrong with that person’? However in doing this ‘experiment’ myself I have observed more often than not the grin is returned, full force. Sometimes even with a large amount of gratitude. You see in that moment a connection is formed that can tell an individual they are not alone, someone, even a random stranger, cares enough to take a moment to make a difference. For some that simple, yet imminently powerful, grin may be the only bright spot in their day. Never underestimate the power each of us have to affect those around us and our surroundings. We can choose to do this with love, or see the world as a dark and gloomy place. It is still the same world, either way. But your experience of it, can be measured in light years of difference. So take a moment, grin, start with your reflection in the mirror at this moment. See? That sparkle in your eyes, That is what the world needs. More souls who have come alive and awake, who are not afraid to sparkle and shine, and grin at the random stranger just for the pure joy of seeing that sparkle reflected in another. I am doing this now, can you feel it? ♥ Robin ♥
For the world to come together and realize we are all ONE. What we do has an impact and affects others. No one is immune or truly alone, we are all part of the common unity that is a community. Embrace this notion, this idea growing ever stronger on our planet and we will create a Paradise. Where suffering and hunger are ended, where those who have give freely, with love, to those who have not. Expecting nothing in return. In the immortal words of a soul enlightened beyond his time and gone too soon. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ” You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope some day you’ll join us, and the world will be as ONE.” ♥♥ ♥♥ ♥♥ ♥ Robin ♥
As sure as the breaking dawn bringing sunlight follows the night so does healing follow loss. Eventually. It takes time, love, patience and understanding. Be gentle with yourself and the ones you love who have lost someone special in their lives. Understanding is not necessary, for everyone grieves in their own way. Compassion is the way to healing, for them and for all. So touch their soul gently, with much love and tenderness, the way you would a newborn child. For in essence this is what is occurring, a new birth in their life of who they are without their loved one. Treat them and yourself to the priceless gift of unconditional love, loving them through the grief and into the brilliant sunlight of a brand new day. ♥ Robin ♥
