I have been better, I have been worse. I realize how much there is to be grateful for every day. Just waking up is a miracle really. I am lucky enough to have friends who are like family, family who are family. And of course my fur-mily, who make me smile every day and fill my life with unconditional love. Yet certain challenges have come up lately that require a heaping helping of forgiveness potion which I seem to have misplaced temporarily. This too shall pass I know. So for now taking it one day at a time, and glad to be back writing again. I truly do appreciate everyone who takes the time to read my silly ramblings.
Traveling safely through life, whether you are going around the globe or to the corner market is what comes up for me today. Sending Reiki to all my fellow travelers on this journey we call life. Namaste.
Please share this event with friends if you are so inclined. I am a Reiki Master Teacher and will be sending FREE distant Reiki on Thursdays starting at 9:00 PM ET. You do not have to do anything special, be anywhere special, just be open to receive. Other Reiki Practitioners are welcome to join in the sending and of course receiving too. Feel free to post a name on the event wall of a person, place or pet/wild animal or your wild animal pet! All are welcome!!
What is ReiKi? Reiki is the Japanese word for “Spiritual life force energy”. Reiki is not a religion, or a new-age practice but is an ancient healing art from Japan. Reiki practitioners do not heal, they merely act as a channel for this Life force energy.
It is also not intended to take the place of traditional medical practices, but to compliment them.
Reiki will instinctively go where it is needed, Mind, Body and Spirit. It is gentle, non-invasive and free for the soul to refuse at any time. Namaste, Robin L. from Scenick Viewz
Every once in a while something touches you on such a deep level you feel changed forever. Some people in my life have said I am strong; however let me define what to me true strength is. To lose a child before you even got a chance to know them, to pick up those pieces and go on to inspire others to create hope on butterfly wings. That is strength. To carry on with a smile on your face and song in your heart, after you have had a major, life changing illness and lost a loved one in less than six months. That is strength. To hold the hand of someone who is passing over, ease their burden, even though it makes your own heavier. That is strength. To try and rescue one more animal, find one more loving home, care for one more beating heart, one more living, breathing creature. That is strength. To lose loved children to an unfair and unjust system, and still live for them. That is strength. To move yourself and your family to a new, unfamiliar place and create a wonderful new life. That is strength. To raise your daughter with unconditional love, compassion and humor after her mother has committed what to most would be an unthinkable, unforgivable act and to teach that child to forgive. That is strength. If I am strong, it is due to all of these amazing people, wonderful Earth Angels who have blessed my life and continue to do so. The world is full of unsung heroes wearing the guise of ordinary people. Look around you, how many do you see?
I truly believe giving gifts is as much of a selfish thing as it is an expression of goodwill towards the receiver. The joy in picking out or if you are artistic making that certain something for that certain person, imagining their delight as they see what you have created for them. Just thinking about this makes me smile. So giving gifts gives much, to all involved in this fun process. This expression of self given freely to another is truly priceless.
It takes more than genetics to make a person a Father. It takes love, guidance, compassion, discipline, more love, being there, setting an example, teaching, playing and more loving still. Many fill this role in a child’s life that are not genetically linked to that child at all. Many who are biological Father’s fill this role as well. Today I want to thank all who wear the mantle of “Father” be it biological or not, Uncles, Granddads, Moms who are also Dads, Foster Fathers, Furry babies Fathers. Family is comprised of more than just being born into a particular line. Family of the soul, Fathers of the soul, you are loved and honored today and every day, as you touch the lives of so many. Thank you for all you do.
Go to the places that make you happy, whether it be physical or mental places. Develop your muscles of self love, of patience, gratitude and forgiveness. For truly life is too short to spend one single minute in anyplace that does not fill you with love. Even if that place seems as if you ‘have’ to be there. Free your perception and find your self deception in thinking that one possibility is all you are allowed. Open your heart and mind to embrace the infinite nature of your very own being. Do, be, think, feel what makes your heart rejoice every day. ♥ Robin ♥
